Broken Harmony controls

Beta binds can shift. This is the layout players actually use in 1.5 lobbies.

Controls Guide

Broken Harmony uses standard Roblox movement plus a small ability bar. 3uf Studios has not published a full bind bible, and Beta patches can relabel a button. This page is the practical map we use across getting started, Scientist, and Experiment articles. If a bind in your client differs, the in-game settings menu wins.

Movement (keyboard)

ActionTypical bind
MoveWASD
CameraMouse
Sprint / staminaShift (or the on-screen sprint on touch)
JumpSpace
Interact / door / PatientE or proximity prompt click

Walk between objectives. Sprint is a resource, especially after the 1.3 regen slow for Scientists and the 175 stamina on Class S.

Experiment abilities

ActionHow players trigger it
PunchMouse 1 / tap attack
Raging EyeAbility 1 on the bar (cooldown 30s)
Leeking HeatAbility 2 on the bar
SprintSame stamina key as survivors, faster (speed 19)

If Mouse 1 does nothing, click was rebound or you are in a lobby. Comment sections on hunter videos are full of “what key is MB1.” It is the left mouse button. On touch it is the right-side attack button.

Class S gun

Aim with camera, fire with the ability / attack button, wait 40 seconds. Range is 100. You cannot open a Patient GUI. If interact does nothing on a machine, you bought Class S — that is a feature. Details on the Class S page.

Patient GUI

Interact to open. Steer the green line onto traveling color blocks. Four successes finish a Patient. Walk away to close. Full minigame: Patient tasks.

Settings that play like binds

  • Hitbox visibility — toggle on if Punch feels unfair. Documented in 1.3 combat notes.
  • Music volume — mute for Last Standing footstep loops.
  • Epilepsy warning — 1.2 added it. Leave if you need to.
  • Shift lock — personal. Some door jukes are easier with it on, some camera peeks are easier with it off.

Touch and gamepad

Touch: movement stick left, attack / ability cluster right, interact as a prompt. Tuning is harder on a small screen; play closer to the machine. Gamepad: Roblox default mapping plus the ability bumper. We do not list a custom layout 3uf has not shipped.

Lobby

Locker, shop (Data, Class S at 950, VIP), queue. Codes button may not exist yet. Scripts are not controls.

If a Beta hotpatch relabels the ability bar, this page will name the new button before we rewrite the hunt guide. Until then, treat the tables as the 1.5 lobby default. Record your own screenshot of the bar if 3uf moves icons overnight — then compare it here. Mobile players should enlarge the Patient GUI by standing closer rather than fighting the green line at arm’s length. Keyboard players should keep interact on a finger that is not also sprinting, because walking away is how you close a failed tune. Gamepad players can use Roblox’s default bumper for abilities; we will not invent a custom layout the studio has not shipped. None of this requires an executor. If a paste claims to bind auto-tune to one key, it is cheating, not a control option.
