Broken Harmony Class S Scientist
A gun, a stun, and no more tuning GUI.
Class S is the shop class added in Broken Harmony 1.3.0. You buy it for 950 Data. You gain a gun that stuns the Experiment for 3 seconds on a successful hit, 40-second cooldown, 35 Data per land, 110 health, 175 stamina (less than a normal Scientist), and you cannot do map tasks. Patch 1.3.5 cut ability range 200 → 100. This page is the kit. Door habits still come from the Scientist survival guide.
The video in the middle is a Class S locker run (Default, Mesmerize, Quotidian, Loser, VIP, plus Birdbrain on the regular Scientist rack). Watch the aim time, not only the drip.
What you are for
You are an escort. Teammates tune Patients. You watch hallways and take the shot when the hunter commits through a door. If you stand on a Patient, you are throwing — the GUI will not open for you.
Numbers
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Price | 950 Data |
| Health | 110 |
| Stamina | 175 (lower than Scientist) |
| Stun | 3 seconds |
| Gun cooldown | 40 seconds |
| Data per hit | 35 |
| Range | 100 (was 200) |
| Tasks | None |
After you land a stun, the Experiment receives 10 seconds of stun immunity (1.3.5, up from 5). Do not try to chain-lock. Shoot, relocate, let teammates finish a tune, shoot again when immunity drops.
Aim
Range 100 is not a sniper. You need a committed hunter in a corridor, not a pixel on the horizon. Touch players will have a worse time; that is a controls issue, not a missing script. Hold the shot for Heat throws and sprint commits. Panic-firing at a closed door wastes 40 seconds.
Skins
- Mesmerize (Rare)
- Quotidian (Rare)
- Loser (Epic) — the grind flex people mention in comments
- Superior (VIP)
Same gun. Rank by how clearly you see the hunter while aiming. Regular Scientist Birdbrain is not a Class S skin even though it appears in some showcase outros.
Last Standing
You cannot tune, so Last Standing is your best movie: 1:30, a stun every 40 seconds, 110 health. Still do not hug Heat. Still mute if you are looping.
Buy or skip
Buy if you already understand doors and hate being helpless in a chase. Skip if your lobby never finishes Patients — they need tuners more than a fourth gunner. 950 Data is also most of a Mesmerizer uniform; the gun changes the match, the uniform does not. No codes grant Class S today.
Practice the gun in a private server before you take it into a public 7-player match. The 100 range after 1.3.5 means you cannot snipe from the far end of the lobby-style hallways that newer map art implies. Stand at the door the Experiment has to take, not at the Patient the rest of your team is tuning. If you miss, the 40-second cooldown is long enough for two Patient tunes to finish — or for you to die. Call the shot in chat so teammates do not walk into Heat while you reload the animation. Class S is still a Scientist slot: if all six remaining players buy the gun, nobody is cutting the timer and the hunter wins on the clock. Keep at least two tuners. That mix is how 950 Data actually pays for itself over a night of public queues.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Scientist, Experiment, and Class S players.
Can Class S tune Patients?
No. That is the trade for the gun. Teammates must do Patient tasks.
Why did my stun range feel shorter?
Patch 1.3.5 cut range from 200 to 100. See updates.
Is Loser a different class?
No. Loser is an Epic Class S skin. Same stun. Same 950 Data class.
